Residence portrays the sensitivity towards the context of the site’s architectural language. Belonging to a big family consisting of three different generations, the client’s requirements were sizable. They wanted a house with five bedrooms and car parks, a kitchen, and informal spaces, along with other basic spaces. To create a balanced flow of spaces the house was planned with G+1 story structure with rich interiors.

The ground floor is kept for both formal and informal spaces. Large living spaces serve finite people with bright-toned interiors. Two bedrooms at the ground floor open upto the rear lawn ends up with soothing nature and hence provide a personal intimate place to hang out. The first floor strictly encounters family time with three bedrooms and a giant living. An open verandah extends the boundaries to outpace.

The built volume is cuboid washed in white, layered up by a deep grey envelop. Softening the appearance of volume we have used vertical solid wooden louvers interposed on levels. It is a contemporary residence with architecture and interior spaces that would resonate with the client’s personality.
